About FirstRoundKO
FirstRoundKO is a decision tool for one situation: you are negotiating pay, and you need to choose your next sentence. It is not a chatbot and not a salary survey.
How an answer is produced
Your situation becomes a constraint model
The facts you give — stage, country, the offer, the band, who has to approve — are turned into explicit constraints: a band the other side can actually authorise, an approval limit, whether an exception path exists. Unknowns stay unknown rather than being filled in with a plausible guess.
A deterministic engine searches it
The engine is arithmetic over that model, not a language model. It samples the space of worlds consistent with your constraints and reports which actions survive, with the reason codes that produced them. The same inputs give the same answer, and you can ask why.
Every figure carries its provenance
A number in a report states whether it came from your own run or from the engine’s public projection, along with its region, date and basis. A figure with no source is a defect, not a statistic.
The answer is checked before you see it
A quality gate refuses an answer that asserts a figure the engine did not produce, attaches a probability to a real-world outcome, or attaches a number to the wrong plan. A refusal degrades the delivery rather than shipping the claim.
What this product does not claim
- No success rate. A conditional rehearsal is labelled as a rehearsal, never as a prediction that you will get the number.
- No invented alternatives. If you have no competing offer, none is assumed on your behalf.
- No legal advice, and no scoring of you or the person across the table.
- No market averages presented as your market. A public projection is labelled as a public projection.
